My kiddos are 3, 4, & 5. The students ...Thanks! My kiddos are 3, 4, & 5. The students going to Kindergarten next year do a great job with the journals. They are able to follow the directions and draw/write things that are identifiable. Most of my younger kiddos "scribble" more then anything, but they are still listening to what we are talking about. I've found it's a great way to differentiate for the mixed ages.
